The Jamaican dancehall and reggae artist is leveling the playing field for Jamaican youth. The core of Buju’s work is giving back and instilling positivity in others. This time, Buju Banton looks to his own life growing up in Kingston, Jamaica as the inspiration for starting his namesake foundation.
The Buju Banton Foundation will offer food, clothing, healthcare and education to ensure young Jamaicans living in poverty up to 20 years-old. The foundation collaborates with volunteers and partners to administer skill-based training, talent development, and educational empowerment.
